Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has performed in 11 Broadway shows, including the revival of Violet - and originated parts in Broadway performances that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Sutton Foster was the Star Search contestant at the age of 15 and has appeared on Bunheads and Psych. The actress has performed in Sesame Street and Law and Order SVU. Solo artist Sutton has performed across the country. Sutton has appeared across the country and internationally, as well as with their musical director Michael Rafter... with songs from her debut solo CD "Wish" as well as the follow-up CD "An Evening With Sutton Foster: Live at the Caf Carlyle." She performed on stages at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, the Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub among others. In 2011 she received an Honorary Doctorate in the form of an honorary doctorate from Ball State University where she has also been appointed as a professor and advisor for members of the Department of Theatre and Dance. She has been starring in the TV show "Younger" which was created by Darren Star, since March 2015.
